     Dr. Mary Doreen Weeden is the daughter of Harold Norman Weeden.1 She married Jeffrey Howard Archer, Baron Archer of Weston-super-Mare, son of William Archer and Lola Cook, in 1966.1
     She graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).1 From 1966, her married name became Archer.1 As a result of her marriage, Dr. Mary Doreen Weeden was styled as Baroness Archer of Weston-super-Mare on 27 July 1992.
