     Hon. Charles Pierrepont Darcy Lane-Fox was born on 25 August 1830.1 He was the son of Sackville Walter Lane-Fox and Lady Charlotte Mary Anne Georgiana Osborne.1 He married Louisa Emma Fairfax, daughter of Thomas Fairfax, on 22 June 1859.1 He died on 13 September 1874 at age 44.1
      On 9 July 1859 he was granted the rank of a baron's younger son.1
