     Hon. Frances Henrietta Law was born on 11 February 1812.1 She was the daughter of Edward Law, 1st Baron Ellenborough and Anne Towry.1 She married, firstly, Charles Des Voeux, son of Sir Charles Des Voeux, 2nd Bt. and Christina Hird, on 8 March 1832.2 She married, secondly, Sir Robert Charles Dallas, 2nd Bt., son of Sir George Dallas, 1st Bt. and Margaret Catherine Blackwood, on 29 September 1841 at St. Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, Marylebone, London, England. She died on 2 March 1894 at age 82 at 17 Ashburn Place, Cromwell Road, South Kensington, London, England.1
     From 8 March 1832, her married name became Des Voeux.2 From 29 September 1841, her married name became Dallas.1
