     Surgn.-Maj. Edward Acton Gibbon was born on 19 June 1835.2 He was the son of William Monk Gibbon and Anne Boxwell.2 He married Eliza Rebecca Taylor, daughter of Thomas Taylor, on 14 March 1875.2 He died on 15 February 1916 at age 80.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a A.M.D.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wexford.2 He lived at Sleedagh, County Wexford, Ireland.2

John George Gibbon1

     John George Gibbon was born on 5 August 1837.1 He was the son of William Monk Gibbon and Anne Boxwell.2 He married Mary Eleanor Taylor, daughter of Thomas Taylor, on 19 August 1863.1 He died on 9 February 1909 at age 71.1
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1 He lived at Kiltenell, Gorey, County Wexford, Ireland.1 He lived at 34 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1

     Rev. Canon William Monk Gibbon was born on 11 July 1864.1 He was the son of John George Gibbon and Mary Eleanor Taylor.2 He married Isabel Agnes Meredith, daughter of William Rice Meredith, on 15 February 1894.1 He died on 26 March 1935 at age 70.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Rural Dean (R.D.) of Taney.1 He lived at Taney, Dundrum, County Dublin, Ireland.1

     Isabel Agnes Meredith was the daughter of William Rice Meredith.1 She married, firstly, John Pollock before 1894.1 She married, secondly, Rev. Canon William Monk Gibbon, son of John George Gibbon and Mary Eleanor Taylor, on 15 February 1894.1 She died on 26 July 1945.1
      From before 1894, her married name became Pollock.1 From 15 February 1894, her married name became Gibbon.

     Dr. William Monk Gibbon was born on 15 December 1896.1 He was the son of Rev. Canon William Monk Gibbon and Isabel Agnes Meredith.2 He married Mabel Winifred Dingwall, daughter of Reverend Walter Molyneux Dingwall and Mabel Sophia Spender, on 30 August 1928.1 He died on 20 October 1987 at age 90.3
