Hugh Lomas Smeddle and April Mary Hughes, in 1972.1 She and Robert Adam Hughes Smeddle were divorced in 1982.1 She married, secondly, Alastair D. M. Ritchie, son of Lt.-Col. C. W. M. Ritchie, in 1987.1
     From 1972, her married name became Smeddle. From 1987, her married name became Ritchie.

Hugh Lomas Smeddle and April Mary Hughes.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Ann Howarth, daughter of Ernest Gerald Howarth and Lady Meriel Aileen Brabazon, in 1972.2 He and Sarah Ann Howarth were divorced in 1982.2 He married, secondly, Daryl Anne Brookes, daughter of Major R. E. Brookes, in 1988.1

     Colonel George Sholto Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 2nd Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai was born on 30 September 1836 at Linton Spring, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Edward Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 1st Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Juliana Isabella Mary Dawkins-Pennant.3 He married, firstly, Pamela Blanche Rushout, daughter of Sir Charles Rushout Rushout, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Cecilia Olivia Geraldine Foley, on 23 August 1860.1 He married, secondly, Gertrude Jessy Glynne, daughter of Reverend Henry Glynne and Hon. Lavinia Lyttelton, on 21 October 1875.4 He died on 10 March 1907 at age 70.4
     He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Volunteers.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Fourth Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He held the office of County Councillor (C.C.) for Caernarvonshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Caernarvonshire between 1866 and 1868.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Caernarvonshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Caernarvonshire between 1874 and 1880.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai, co.      Colonel Morys Lancelot Lloyd-Mostyn was born on 20 February 1887.1 He was the son of Colonel Hon. Henry Richard Howel Lloyd-Mostyn and Hon. Pamela Georgina Douglas-Pennant.2 He married Marjorie Eleanor Tubb, daughter of Henry Tubb and Margaret Stratton, on 22 November 1917 at St. George's Hanover Square, London, England.3 He died on 3 December 1968 at age 81.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England, Eton.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the 6th Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers (TAR.)1 He was GSO(3) in 1917.1 He was awarded the Royal Humane Society Bronze Medal.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1

     Gertrude Jessy Glynne was born circa 1850 at Hawarden Castle, Flintshire, WalesG.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Glynne and Hon. Lavinia Lyttelton. She married Colonel George Sholto Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 2nd Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai, son of Edward Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 1st Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Juliana Isabella Mary Dawkins-Pennant, on 21 October 1875.2 She died on 20 February 1940.2
     From 21 October 1875, her married name became Douglas-Pennant.2 After her marriage, Gertrude Jessy Glynne was styled as Baroness Penrhyn of Llandegai on 31 March 1886.

Charles Douglas-Pennant was born on 7 October 1877 at Wicken, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Colonel George Sholto Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 2nd Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Gertrude Jessy Glynne.1,3 He married Lady Edith Anne Dawson, daughter of Vesey Dawson, 2nd Earl of Dartrey and Julia Georgiana Sarah Wombwell, on 28 January 1905.1 He died on 29 October 1914 at age 37, killed in action, without issue.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, he was mentioned in despatches twice.4,5 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.5 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.5 He fought in the First World War.1

Sir George Cranfield Berkeley and Lady Emilia Charlotte Lennox.1 He married Lucy Sutton, daughter of Sir Thomas Sutton, 1st and last Bt., in March 1815.2 He died on 25 September 1857 at age 72.1
     He gained the rank of General in the British Army.2 He was Colonel of the 35th Regiment.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)3
