Maj.-Gen. Frederick Chenevix Trench was born on 10 October 1837.1 He was the son of Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Richard Chenevix Trench and Hon. Frances Mary Trench.1 He married Mary Frederica Blanche Mulville, daughter of Captain Charles Blood Mulville, on 17 July 1873.1 He died on 18 April 1894 at age 56.1
Maj.-Gen. Frederick Chenevix Trench was baptised with the name of Frederick Trench. He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the 20th Hussars.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1 On 1873 his name was legally changed to Frederick Chenevix Trench.1 He held the office of Military Attaché to St. Petersburg between 1883 and 1886.1
