     Isobel Hay is the daughter of John Hay, 1st Lord Hay of Yester and Elizabeth Cunningham.1 She married Robert Lauder of The Bass, son of Robert Lauder of the Bass and Jonet Home, before 1489.1
     From before 1496, her married name became Lauder.1

     Robert Lauder of The Bass was born before 1440.2 He was the son of Robert Lauder of the Bass and Jonet Home.2 He married Isobel Hay, daughter of John Hay, 1st Lord Hay of Yester and Elizabeth Cunningham, before 1489.1 He died circa January 1508.2
     He held the office of Governor of Berwick-upon-Tweed Castle.2
