He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Hothfield of Hothfield, co. Kent [U.K., 1881] on 20 August 1961.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Tufton, of Hothfield, co. Kent [U.K., 1851] on 20 August 1961.1
