     Ellen Hamilton Hughes was the son of Arthur Hughes and Frances Burnard.² He died on 27 December 1915, unmarried.¹

      Her married name became Gibbons.

     He was the Rector at Peter Tavy, Devon, England.¹

     Elizabeth St. John Butcher was the daughter of Robert Butcher.¹ She married Rev. Sir Thomas Collingwood Hughes, 8th Bt., son of Rev. Sir Robert Hughes, 3rd Bt. and Bethia Hiscutt, on 31 May 1820.¹ She died on 12 July 1879.¹
      From 31 May 1820, her married name became Hughes.

     Marcus Hughes was born on 27 July 1821.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir Thomas Collingwood Hughes, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth St. John Butcher.² He died on 30 July 1846 at age 25 at India, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 63rd Regiment.¹

     Reverend Robert Edgar Hughes was born on 11 September 1822.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir Thomas Collingwood Hughes, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth St. John Butcher.² He married Frances Eleanor Pemberton, daughter of Christopher Robert Pemberton, on 24 October 1857.¹ He died on 1 November 1863 at age 41.¹
     He was a Fellow at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹
