     Charles Binny Skinner was baptised on 31 August 1808 at St. John's, Forfar, Angus, Scotland.2 He was the son of Reverend John Skinner and Elizabeth Ure.2 He married Frances Mary Andrews, daughter of Charles Andrews, on 5 February 1850 at Chirst Church, St. Pancras, London, England.2 He died on 2 September 1889 at age 81 at The Chantry, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.2 He was buried on 6 September 1889 at Newland, Great Malvern, Worcestershire, England.2

     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
