Colonel Alexander Bagot was born on 10 June 1822.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Bagot and Lady Mary Charlotte Anne Wellesley-Pole.1 He married Gertrude Letitia Hallifax, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Robert Dampier Hallifax, on 28 October 1852.1 He died on 20 October 1874 at age 52.1

Desanges, on 9 February 1891.1 He died in 1901.1
