     Edward Melville Beaumont was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.1 He was educated between 1970 and 1973 at University of Sheffield, Sheffield, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.2 He was a solicitor in 1977.2 He was a farmer at Derbyshire, England.2

     Roger de Quency, 2nd Earl of Winchester was the son of Saher de Quency, 1st Earl of Winchester and Margaret (?).2,3 He married, firstly, Helen de Galloway, daughter of Alan de Galloway, Lord of Galloway and Margaret of Huntingdon, before 1234.4 He died on 25 April 1264.
     Roger de Quency, 2nd Earl of Winchester was also known as Roger de Quincy.5 He gained the title of 2nd Earl of Winchester.
