     Colonel Francis Gerald Kenyon-Slaney was born on 7 November 1858.¹ He was the son of William Kenyon-Slaney and Frances Catherine Slaney.² He married Edith Mary Sherwin Holt, daughter of Major Joseph Holt and Matilda Fisher, on 19 July 1892.¹ He died on 12 June 1938 at age 79.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Durham Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Major Joseph Holt was born on 24 January 1824 at Holbury, Yorkshire, England.² He married, firstly, Mary Annette Fawsitt in 1851 at York, Yorkshire, England.² He married, secondly, Matilda Fisher, daughter of Edward Fisher and Mary (?), in 1860 at Hinckley, Leicestershire, England.² He died on 18 December 1903 at age 79 at St. Peters Church, Farnborough, Hampshire, England.²

      From 19 July 1892, her married name became Kenyon-Slaney.

     Major Philip Percy Kenyon-Slaney was born on 12 February 1898.¹ He was the son of Percy Robert Kenyon-Slaney and Geraldine Ellen Georgina Whitmore.² He died on 9 September 1928 at age 30, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 96th Royal Devon Yeomanry Brigade, Royal Field Artillery.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tavistock.¹

     Colonel Gerald William Kenyon-Slaney was born on 20 July 1899.¹ He was the son of Percy Robert Kenyon-Slaney and Geraldine Ellen Georgina Whitmore.² He married Barbara Nannette Skipwith, daughter of Reverend Granville Gore Skipwith and Violet Mary Tyser, on 23 June 1928.¹ He died on 27 December 1953 at age 54.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 1st Battalion, Grenadier Guards.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the British Military Administration, Eritrea.¹ He was with the Administration Service, Nyasaland.¹ He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1941.¹

     Reverend Granville Gore Skipwith was born on 29 July 1865.² He is the son of Lionel Skipwith and Nannette Walker.³ He married Violet Mary Tyser, daughter of George Walter Tyser, on 12 July 1899.² He died on 7 March 1955 at age 89, aged 90.²
     He graduated in 1891 with a Jesus College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) , Master of Arts (M.A.) 1897).² In 1904 Rector Englefield.²

     Barbara Nannette Skipwith was born in 1902.² She was the daughter of Reverend Granville Gore Skipwith and Violet Mary Tyser.³ She married Colonel Gerald William Kenyon-Slaney, son of Percy Robert Kenyon-Slaney and Geraldine Ellen Georgina Whitmore, on 23 June 1928.¹ She died in 1995.¹
      From 23 June 1928, her married name became Kenyon-Slaney.
