     Thomas Cooke was born on 8 July 1790.2 He was the son of Very Rev. Thomas Trench and Mary Weldon.1 He married Catherine Croasdaile, daughter of Colonel Richard Croasdaile and Elizabeth Sandes, on 5 June 1826.2 He died on 9 April 1851 at age 60.2 He was buried at Coolbanagher Church, Emo, County Laois, IrelandG.2
     He was given the name of Thomas Trench at birth.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1808 in the Royal Horse Artillery.2 He retired from the military in 1818.2 In 1850 his name was legally changed to Thomas Cooke.1 He lived at Millicent, County Kildare, IrelandG.3

Catherine Croasdaile1

     Catherine Croasdaile was born on 16 May 1793.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Richard Croasdaile and Elizabeth Sandes.3 She married Thomas Cooke, son of Very Rev. Thomas Trench and Mary Weldon, on 5 June 1826.4 She died on 4 February 1871 at age 77.2 She was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold's Cross, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     From 5 June 1826, her married name became Trench.1 From 1850, her married name became Cooke.1

Thomas Richard Frederick Cooke-Trench1

     Thomas Richard Frederick Cooke-Trench was born on 18 August 1829.2 He was the son of Thomas Cooke and Catherine Croasdaile.1 He married Caroline Elizabeth Heathcote, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir William Heathcote, 5th Bt. and Hon. Caroline Frances Perceval, on 17 August 1858.3 He died in 1902, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Thomas Richard Frederick Trench at birth.1 In 1858 his name was legally changed to Thomas Richard Frederick Cooke-Trench.1 He wrote the book Memoirs of the Trench Family, published 1897.1

Caroline Elizabeth Heathcote1

     Caroline Elizabeth Heathcote was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir William Heathcote, 5th Bt. and Hon. Caroline Frances Perceval.2 She married Thomas Richard Frederick Cooke-Trench, son of Thomas Cooke and Catherine Croasdaile, on 17 August 1858.3 She died on 24 November 1910, without issue.3
     From 17 August 1858, her married name became Cooke-Trench.
