     Averina Constance Frances Knowles was born on 16 April 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Francis Gerald William Knowles and Ruth Jessie Brooke-Smith.² She married Martin Dacre Northmore-Ball, son of Surgn. Lt.-Cdr. Godfrey Dacre Jennings Ball, on 26 July 1969.¹
      Her married name became Northmore-Ball. She lived in 2003 at Higher Grange, Ellesmere, Shropshire, England.¹
