Mary Boleyn Knowles was the daughter of Admiral Sir Charles George Frederick Knowles, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Chapman.2 She married Henry Arthur Joseph Tempest, son of Sir Charles Henry Tempest, 1st and last Bt. and Cecilia Elizabeth Tichborne Hibbert, on 16 November 1885.1 She died on 9 January 1929, a daughter (Maria Victoria, Marquesa de Frechilla, died unmarried Madrid 30 Aug 1947).3
