Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes, 9th Earl of Granard was born on 10 April 1915.1 He was the son of Bernard Arthur William Patrick Hastings Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard and Beatrice Mills.1 He married Marie Madeleine Eugenie Maurel, daughter of Jean Maurel, on 29 July 1949.1 He died in 1992.1
