     Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes, 9th Earl of Granard was born on 10 April 1915. He was the son of Bernard Arthur William Patrick Hastings Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard and Beatrice Mills. He married Marie Madeleine Faucigny-Lucinge, Princess Faucigny-Lucinge on 29 July 1949. He died in 1992.
     Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes, 9th Earl of Granard gained the title of 9th Earl of Granard.

     Marie Madeleine Faucigny-Lucinge, Princess Faucigny-Lucinge married Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes, 9th Earl of Granard, son of Bernard Arthur William Patrick Hastings Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard and Beatrice Mills, on 29 July 1949.
     Marie Madeleine Faucigny-Lucinge, Princess Faucigny-Lucinge gained the title of Princess Marie Madeleine Faucigny-Lucinge. Her married name became Forbes.

     Lady Moira Beatrice Forbes was born in 1952. She is the daughter of Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes, 9th Earl of Granard and Marie Madeleine Faucigny-Lucinge, Princess Faucigny-Lucinge. She married Charles-Antoine de Ligne, Prince de Ligne, son of Jean Charles de Ligne, Prince de Ligne and Maria del Rosario de Lambertye-Gerbeviller, in 1971. She and Charles-Antoine de Ligne, Prince de Ligne were divorced in 1975.
     Her married name became de Ligne.

     Hon. John Forbes was born on 8 October 1920. He was the son of Bernard Arthur William Patrick Hastings Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard and Beatrice Mills. He married Joan Smith, daughter of A. Edward Smith, on 23 January 1947. He died before 1993.
