     Helen Gibson-Wright was the daughter of Alexander Gibson-Wright and Margaret Gibson. She married Sir Alexander Charles Maitland, 2nd Bt., son of Hon. Sir Alexander Maitland, 1st Bt. and Penelope Madan, on 30 April 1786.
     From 30 April 1786, her married name became Maitland.
