     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln.1 He held the office of Judge Advocate-General [India].1 He lived at Cheam, Surrey, England.1

     Emma Mary Fitzpatrick was born illegitimately. She was the daughter of John FitzPatrick, 2nd Earl of Upper Ossory and Elizabeth Wilson.2,3 She married Robert Vernon, 1st Baron Lyvedon of Lyvedon, son of Robert Percy Smith and Caroline Maria Vernon, on 15 July 1823.1 She died on 22 September 1882.1
     From 15 July 1823, her married name became Smith.1 After her marriage, Emma Mary Fitzpatrick was styled as Baroness Lyveden of Lyveden on 28 June 1859. From 14 July 1859, her married name became Vernon.1

     Fitzpatrick Henry Vernon, 2nd Baron Lyveden of Lyveden was born on 27 April 1824.1 He was the son of Robert Vernon, 1st Baron Lyvedon of Lyvedon and Emma Mary Fitzpatrick.2 He married, firstly, Albreda Elizabeth Fitzwilliam, daughter of Charles William Fitzwilliam, 5th Earl Fitzwilliam and Hon. Mary Dundas, on 21 June 1853.1 He married, secondly, Julia Kate Emary, daughter of Albert Emary, on 15 October 1896.1 He died on 25 February 1900 at age 75, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was Private Secretary to the Head of Woods and Forests Department in 1840.1 He was educated at Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England.1 He was Attaché to Madrid between 1846 and 1848.1 He was Attaché to Hanover between 1848 and 1849.1 He was Attaché to Berlin in 1849.1 He was Private Secretary to the Secretary of War in 1852.1 He was Private Secretary to the Secretary of the Board of Control between 1855 and 1858.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Lyveden of Lyveden, co. Northampton [U.K., 1859] on 10 November 1873.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Northamptonshire.1
