     Greville Richard Vernon was born on 6 March 1835.¹ He was the son of Robert Vernon Smith, 1st Baron Lyvedon of Lyvedon and Emma Mary Fitzpatrick.² He married Susan Caroline Cockerell, daughter of Commander Richard Howe Cockerell, on 13 April 1858.¹ He died on 19 February 1909 at age 73, with other issue:.¹

     Susan Caroline Cockerell was the daughter of Commander Richard Howe Cockerell.² She married Greville Richard Vernon, son of Robert Vernon Smith, 1st Baron Lyvedon of Lyvedon and Emma Mary Fitzpatrick, on 13 April 1858.¹ She died on 3 October 1901.¹

     Howe William Leveson Vernon was born on 21 December 1859.¹ He was the son of Greville Richard Vernon and Susan Caroline Cockerell.² He died in January 1882 at age 22.¹

     Cecil Sydney Archibald Vernon was born on 18 February 1862.¹ He was the son of Greville Richard Vernon and Susan Caroline Cockerell.² He married Jessie Jane Munroe on 16 February 1887.¹ He died on 22 October 1944 at age 82.¹
