     Colonel Richard Frederick Hill was born on 14 January 1804.2 He was the son of Colonel John Hill and Elizabeth Rhodes Cornish.3 He married Maria Jane Bringhurst, daughter of Major John Dorset Bringhurst and Frances Maria Gore, on 3 April 1835.2 He died on 9 January 1890 at age 85.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry.2 He lived at Prees Hall, Shropshire, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2

     Maria Jane Bringhurst was the daughter of Major John Dorset Bringhurst and Frances Maria Gore.2,3 She married Colonel Richard Frederick Hill, son of Colonel John Hill and Elizabeth Rhodes Cornish, on 3 April 1835.1 She died on 13 October 1880.1
     Her married name became Hill.

     Major John Dorset Bringhurst was born circa 1775. He was the son of Reverend John Bringhurst. He married Frances Maria Gore.1 He died on 18 June 1815 at Waterloo, Belgium, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Kings Dragoon Guards.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.1

     Colonel John Hill was born on 10 October 1769.1 He was the son of Sir John Hill, 3rd Bt. and Mary Chambré.2 He married Elizabeth Rhodes Cornish, daughter of Philip Cornish, on 16 November 1795.1 He died on 26 January 1814 at age 44.1
     He lived at Hawkestone, EnglandG.1

     Elizabeth Rhodes Cornish was the daughter of Philip Cornish.2 She married Colonel John Hill, son of Sir John Hill, 3rd Bt. and Mary Chambré, on 16 November 1795.1 She died on 16 December 1842.1

     Sir John Hill, 3rd Bt. was born on 1 August 1740.1 He was the son of Sir Rowland Hill, 1st Bt. and Jane Broughton.2 He married Mary Chambré, daughter of John Chambré, on 27 September 1768.1 He died on 21 May 1824 at age 83.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hill [G.B., 1727] on 28 November 1809.1

     Rowland Hill, 2nd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke was born in 1800.1 He was the son of Colonel John Hill and Elizabeth Rhodes Cornish.2 He married Anne Clegg, daughter of Joseph Clegg, on 21 July 1831 at Irwell Bank, Lancashire, EnglandG.3 He died on 2 January 1875.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Shropshire between 1821 and 1832.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hill [G.B., 1727] on 21 May 1824.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for North Shropshire between 1832 and 1842.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke, co. Salop. [U.K., 1842] on 10 December 1842.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hardwicke, co. Salop. [U.K., 1816] on 10 December 1842.1
