     Hon. Rowland Tempest Beresford Wynn was born on 30 January 1898 at Rug, Lladwrog, Merionethshire, WalesG.1 He was the son of Hon. Charles Henry Wynn and Frances Georgiana Romer.1 He married Eleanor Mary Tydfil Smith-Thomas, daughter of Srthur Edmund Smith-Thomas, in 1943 at Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 24 April 1977 at age 79 at Worthing, Sussex, EnglandG.3
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England.3 He fought in the First World War, with the Royal Flying Corps.3 He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He was with Designs Department, Marconi between 1922 and 1926.3 He was with the BBC between 1926 and 1960.3 He was registered as a Chartered Engineer.3 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1949.3 He was Chief Engineer, BBC between 1952 and 1960.3 He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Electrical Engineers (F.I.E.E.)3 On 9 January 1958 he was granted the rank of a baron's younger son.3

Charles Henry Wynn and Frances Georgiana Romer.1 She married Griffith Lloyd Roberts, son of Very Rev. Griffiths Roberts, on 15 October 1908.1,2 She died on 10 July 1954 at age 74.2
     From 15 October 1908, her married name became Roberts.1,2

     Rowland Clegg-Hill, 3rd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke was born on 5 December 1833.1 He was the son of Rowland Hill, 2nd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke and Anne Clegg.2 He married, firstly, Mary Madax, daughter of William Madax, on 3 May 1855.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Isabella Elizabeth Wynn, daughter of Spencer Bulkeley Wynn, 3rd Baron Newborough and Frances Maria de Winton, on 29 April 1875.2,3 He died in 1895.2
     He was given the name of Rowland Clegg Hill at birth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for North Shropshire between 1857 and 1865.1 On 7 February 1874 his name was legally changed to Rowland Clegg-Hill by Royal Licence.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke, co. Salop. [U.K., 1842] on 2 January 1875.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hill [G.B., 1727] on 2 January 1875.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Hill of Almaraz and of Hardwicke, co. Salop. [U.K., 1816] on 2 January 1875.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.1 In 1894 he was bankrupted.1
