     William Warburton Frederick Pearce was born on 26 October 1855 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.1 He was the son of Matthew Frederick Pearce and Lillias Hepburn.1 He married Lily Sarah Hill on 7 November 1878 at Brighton, Tasmania, Australia.1 He died on 26 June 1922 at age 66 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.1 He was buried on 28 June 1922.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Tasmania] in 1922, for Franklin.1

     He fought in the Second World War, with Cape Town Highlanders in Italy.1 He was with the Forestry Department, South Rhodesia for four years.1 He was manager of the family farm at Daviot, Felixburg, Zimbabwe.1
