     Claire Marjoribanks Maitland was the daughter of Sir John Nisbet Maitland, 5th Bt. and Annie Florence Mary Rickman.² She married George Francis Milne, 1st Baron Milne, son of George Milne and Williamina Panton, on 3 June 1905.³ She died on 15 December 1970.¹
     She was Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.).¹ From 3 June 1905, her married name became Milne. She was Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1920.¹

     Victor Francis Thomas Martyn was born on 21 December 1825.¹ He was the son of Major Robert Martyn and Antoinetta Gaál.¹ He married Angelica Pickler, daughter of Joseph Pickler, in 1862.¹ He died in 1883.¹
