     Elizabeth Jane Richards is the daughter of Reverend William Page Richards.2 She married Augustus Maitland, son of Sir Alexander Charles Maitland, 2nd Bt. and Helen Gibson-Wright, on 1 June 1843.1
     She was Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.).1 And grand-daughter of Sir J Strachan.1 She was also known as Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 Her married name became Maitland.
