     Bertie Charles Lousada was born in 1889 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was the son of Captain Simeon Charles Lousada and Charlotte Sophia Moysey.¹ He died on 9 May 1915 at Ypres, Belgium, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Norfolk Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹
