     Hon. Charles Cecil Farquharson Dundas was born on 6 June 1884.1 He was the son of Charles Saunders Melville Dundas, 6th Viscount Melville of Melville and Grace Selina Marion Scully.2 He married Anne Louise Hay, daughter of Reverend Samuel Cox Hay, on 16 October 1920.1 He died on 10 February 1956 at age 71, without issue.1
     He held the office of District Commissioner of British East African Protectorate between 1908 and 1915.1 He was Political Officer as Major in the German East African Campaign between 1915 and 1918.1 He was Senior Commissioner of Tanganyika Territory between 1921 and 1925.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1922.1 He held the office of Chief Secretary [Tanganyika] in 1926.1 He held the office of Colonial Secretary [Bahamas] in 1929.1 He held the office of Colonial Secretary [Northern Rhodesia] between 1934 and 1937.1 He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bahamas between 1937 and 1940.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1938.1 He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Uganda Protectorate between 1940 and 1944.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)1

     Anne Louise Hay was the daughter of Reverend Samuel Cox Hay.2 She married Hon. Charles Cecil Farquharson Dundas, son of Charles Saunders Melville Dundas, 6th Viscount Melville of Melville and Grace Selina Marion Scully, on 16 October 1920.1 She died on 14 October 1959.1
     From 16 October 1920, her married name became Dundas.

Hilda Guilhermina Dundas was born on 19 May 1877.1 She was the daughter of Charles Saunders Melville Dundas, 6th Viscount Melville of Melville and Grace Selina Marion Scully.2 She married William Ingham Whitaker, son of William Ingham Whitaker and Louisa Katharine Ewing, on 22 September 1903.1 She died on 18 December 1971 at age 94.1
     From 22 September 1903, her married name became Whitaker. She was awarded the Order of Mercy.1 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1

     Agnes Mary Florence Brouncker was the daughter of Henry Brouncker.2 She married Henry Charles Clement Dundas, 7th Viscount Melville of Melville, son of Charles Saunders Melville Dundas, 6th Viscount Melville of Melville and Grace Selina Marion Scully, on 20 June 1899.1 She died on 13 September 1954.1
     From 20 June 1899, her married name became Dundas. After her marriage, Agnes Mary Florence Brouncker was styled as Viscountess Melville of Melville on 21 September 1926.

     Henry Charles Patric Brouncker Dundas Dundas, 8th Viscount Melville of Melville was born on 5 March 1909.1 He was the son of Henry Charles Clement Dundas, 7th Viscount Melville of Melville and Agnes Mary Florence Brouncker.2 He died on 26 March 1971 at age 62, unmarried.1
     He was educated King's Canterbury.1 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Melville of Melville, co. Edinburgh [U.K., 1802] on 30 January 1935.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Dunira, co. Perth [U.K., 1802] on 30 January 1935.1
