     Captain Malcolm Matthew Moncrieff is the son of Sir Alexander Moncrieff.2 He married Perrine Millais, daughter of Sir Everett Millais, 2nd Bt. and Mary St. Lawrence Hope-Vere, on 3 June 1914.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Dragoon Guards.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1

     Mary Amice de Carteret Millais was born on 4 July 1897.1 She was the daughter of Sir Everett Millais, 2nd Bt. and Mary St. Lawrence Hope-Vere.2 She married Sydney Hewitt Pitt on 16 January 1924.1 She and Sydney Hewitt Pitt were divorced in 1940.1 She died on 4 December 1978 at age 81.1
     From 16 January 1924, her married name became Pitt.

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Seaforth Highlanders.1
