     Fenton Augustus Erskine was born on 29 June 1895.1 He was the son of Augustus Erskine and Kathleen Lyons.2 He died on 8 May 1915 at age 19, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Marines.1
