     Catherine Hay was born on 9 February 1794.1 She was the daughter of Robert Hay and Catherine Babington.1 She married Vice-Admiral Alexander Renton Kirkpatrick Sharpe, son of Charles Kirkpatrick Sharpe and Eleanora Renton, on 27 February 1821 at Spott, East Lothian, Scotland.1 She died on 26 October 1838 at age 44.1
      From 27 February 1821, her married name became Sharpe.1 From 27 February 1821, her married name became Kirkpatrick Sharpe.1

     George Digby Wingfield Digby was born on 1 June 1797.1 He was the son of William Wingfield-Baker and Lady Charlotte Maria Digby.1 He married Lucy Mabella Berkeley, daughter of Edward Berkeley Portman and Lucy Whitby, on 26 May 1824.2 He died on 7 May 1883 at age 85, without issue.1
     He lived at Sherborne Castle, Dorset, England.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).2 He was given the name of George Digby Wingfield at birth.1 In 1856 his name was legally changed to George Digby Wingfield Digby.1
