Admiral Sir Michael Culme-Seymour, 3rd Bt. was born on 13 March 1836.2 He was the son of Rev. Sir John Hobart Culme-Seymour, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Culme.1 He married Mary Georgiana Watson Watson, daughter of Hon. Richard Watson and Lavinia Jane Quin, on 16 October 1866.2 He died on 11 October 1920 at age 84.2
He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Seymour, of High Mount, co. Limerick [U.K., 1809] on 17 September 1880.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific between 1885 and 1887.2 He was commander of the Channel Squadron between 1890 and 1892.2 He held the office of Commander-in-Chief between 1893 and 1896, Mediterranean Fleet.2 He held the office of Commander-in-Chief between 1897 and 1900, Portsmouth.2 He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.2 He held the office of Lieutenant of the Admiralty between 1901 and 1921.2 He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM King Edward VII.2 He was awarded the Knight, Order of the Medjidie 1st Class.2 He held the office of Vice-Admiral of the U.K.2
