James Wedderburn and Isabella Clerk.1 He married, firstly, Matilda Costello in 1846.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Panton in 1875 at South Hampstead, London, England.1 He died on 4 January 1879 at age 58 at Haverstock Hill, Hampstead, London, England.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Bengal Army.1
