Henry Steuart Phillpotts, son of Brig.-Gen. Louis Murray Phillpotts, on 1 February 1940. She and Lt.-Col. Henry Steuart Phillpotts were divorced in 1949. She married, secondly, Richard Rashleigh Shelly, son of Dr. L. W. Shelly, on 25 May 1949.
From 1 February 1940, her married name became Phillpotts. From 25 May 1949, her married name became Shelly.

Captain John Bailward was the son of Thomas Henry Methuen Bailward. He married Aline Margaret Forester, daughter of Captain Francis William Forester and Aline Laura Milbank, on 24 October 1934. He died on 8 December 1946.
