     Peter Wrightson was born on 20 February 1914.1 He is the son of Sir Thomas Garmondsay Guy Wrightson, 2nd Bt. and Gwendolin Cotterill Neame.2 He married Pamela Wilson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Murrough John Wilson and Sybil May Milbank, on 31 August 1946.1 He died on 27 August 1995 at age 81.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Durham Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.1
