     Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. was born on 31 July 1733. He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Sutton and Judith Tichborne.2 He married Margaret Porter, daughter of John Porter, on 8 April 1793. He died on 10 January 1802 at age 68.
     Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. was created 1st Baronet Sutton in 1773.2
