John Sutton

     John Sutton was born in 1770.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. and Anne Williams. He married Sophia Frances Chaplin, daughter of Charles Chaplin.2 He married Sophia Frances Chaplin, daughter of Charles Chaplin, on 4 October 1804.1 He died on 15 September 1801.
     He was ), dau of Charles Chaplin, of Tathwell, Lincolnshire (see 1970 edn CHAPLIN, V), on 9 February 1844.1

Sophia Frances Chaplin

     Sophia Frances Chaplin was the daughter of Charles Chaplin.1 She married, firstly, John Sutton, son of Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. and Anne Williams.2 She married John Sutton, son of Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. and Anne Williams, on 4 October 1804.3 She married, secondly, Thomas Wright, son of Thomas Wright and Mary Smith, on 4 October 1804.2 She died on 9 February 1844.2
     She lived Bramcote.3 She was Nottinghamshire.3 Her married name became Sutton.2 Her married name became Wright.

     Thomas Wright was born on 6 December 1773.1 He was the son of Thomas Wright and Mary Smith.1 He married Sophia Frances Chaplin, daughter of Charles Chaplin, on 4 October 1804.1
     He lived at Bramcote, Nottinghamshire, England. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.1 He lived at Upton Hall, Newark, Nottinghamshire, England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1811.1

Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. was born on 31 July 1733.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Sutton and Judith Tichborne.3 He married Susan Champion de Crespigny, daughter of unknown Champion de Crespigny, on 12 June 1766.2 He married Margaret Porter, daughter of John Porter, on 8 April 1793.4 He died on 10 January 1802 at age 68.4
     He lived Norwood Park.2 He graduated with a Trin College Cambridge Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) St Albans , Sandwich 1780–84 and Boroughbridge 1784–96, U-Sec 1766–72 in 1768.2 On 14 October 1772 so created.2 He was created 1st Baronet Sutton, of Norwood Park, co. Nottingham [Great Britain] on 14 October 1772.3 On 2 December 1787 married 2nd Ann (died ), younger daughter and coheir of William Peere Williams, of Cadleigh, Devon.2
