     Louise Marie Elizabeth Brierly was born in 1876.2 She was the daughter of Sir Oswald Walters Brierly and Louise Marie Hubard.1,2 She married, firstly, Carr Francis Brouncker Hamond on 18 December 1901 at St. Paul's Church, Kandy, Sri Lanka.2 She and Carr Francis Brouncker Hamond were divorced in January 1912.2 She married, secondly, Alfred Herbert Lucas, son of Clement Lucas and Elizabeth Leedham Capenhurst, on 14 February 1912 at Southampton, Hampshire, England.1
      From 18 December 1901, her married name became Hamond.2 From 14 February 1912, her married name became Lucas.1

Sir Oswald Brierly
     Sir Oswald Walters Brierly was born on 19 May 1817.2 He was the son of Dr. Thomas Brierly.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Fry, daughter of Edmund Fry, on 26 August 1852 at Croydon, Surrey, England.2 He married, secondly, Louise Marie Hubard, daughter of Louis Hubard and Maria (?), in 1872.2 He died on 14 December 1894 at age 77 at Kensington, London, England.2
     He was a marine artist to HM Queen Victoria in 1874.1
