     Maria van Oudenaarde Vrouwe van Pamele was the daughter of Jan Heer van Oudenaarde Heer van Pamele and Adèle de Nesle-Soissons.1,2 She married Godfried van Brabant Heer van Gassbeek en Herstal, Seigneur de Beaucignies, son of Henri I, Duc de Brabant and Matilda de Boulogne, in 1243.1 She died in 1290.2

     Jan Heer van Oudenaarde Heer van Pamele was born in 1220.2 He was the son of Arnulf IV Heer van Oudenaarde Heer van Pamele and Alix, Dame de Rozoy.2 He married Adèle de Nesle-Soissons, daughter of Jean II de Nesle, Comte de Soissons and Maria van Oudenaarde, Dame du Tour et de Chimay.2 He died on 12 December 1293.2

     From 9 October 1897, her married name became Vaughan Williams.1

     Ralph Vaughan Williams was born on 12 October 1872 at Down Ampney, Gloucestershire, England.2 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Charles Vaughan Williams and Margaret Susan Wedgwood.2 He married, firstly, Adeline Maria Fisher, daughter of Herbert William Fisher and Mary Louisa Jackson, on 9 October 1897 at All Saints Church, Hove, Sussex, England.2 He married, secondly, Joan Ursula Penton Lock, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Robert Ferguson Lock and Kathleen Beryl Penton, in 1953.3 He died on 26 August 1958 at age 85.2
     He was a composer.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Music.2 He gained the rank of Private in the Royal Army Medical Corps.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Garrison Artillery.2

     From September 1886, her married name became Maitland.3 From 3 March 1913, her married name became Darwin.1
