     Pamela Catherine Mabell Kay-Shuttleworth was born on 17 September 1915. She is the daughter of T/Captain Hon. Edward James Kay-Shuttleworth and Sibell Eleanor Maud Adeane. She married, firstly, William Keith Rous, 5th Earl of Stradbroke, son of George Edward John Mowbray Rous, 3rd Earl of Stradbroke and Helena Violet Alice Fraser, on 7 August 1935. She and William Keith Rous, 5th Earl of Stradbroke were divorced in 1940. She married, secondly, Major Hon. Sir Thomas William Assheton Frankland, 11th Bt., son of Sir Frederick William Francis George Frankland, 10th Bt. and Mary Cecil Curzon, Baroness Zouche, on 25 June 1942. She married, thirdly, Michael Barclay, son of Reverend Humphrey Gordon Barclay, on 29 June 1946.
     From 7 August 1935, her married name became Rous. From 25 June 1942, her married name became Frankland. From 29 June 1946, her married name became Barclay.
