     Rear-Admiral George Hector Creswell was born on 17 June 1889 at Wimbledon, London, England.2 He was the son of F. S. Creswell.2 He married Katharine Stuart, daughter of Major John Stuart, in 1916.2 He died on 20 April 1967 at age 77 at Waldringfield, Woodbridge, Surrey, England.2
     He lived at Rivers Hall, Waldringfield, Suffolk, England.1 He was commissioned on 15 September 1908 with the rank of Sub-Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April 1911.2 He gained the rank of First World War in the where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April 1919.2 He gained the rank of Commander on 31 December 1924.2 He gained the rank of Captain on 31 December 1931.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He gained the rank of Acting Rear-Admiral in July 1941.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1943.1 He gained the rank of Commodore on 12 November 1943 in the Royal Naval Reserve.2

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He was commander of the 1st Battalion, Grenadier Guards between 1993 and 1995.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall between 2008 and 2011.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cornwall between 2011 and 2012.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall in September 2011.3

Sir Edward Hoblyn Warren Bolitho and Agnes Johnson, on 14 November 1942.1 He died on 27 December 1995 at age 80 at Penzance, Cornwall, England.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 16 February 1937 in the Royal Navy.1,2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1945.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 16 February 1945.2 He gained the rank of Commander on 31 December 1949.2 He gained the rank of Captain on 31 December 1957.2 He retired from the military on 15 June 1961, with the rank of Captain.2 He lived in 1965 at Leyrath, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1
