     Cecil Walford Tribe was born on 28 October 1859 at Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Henry John Tribe and Elizabeth Sarah Fead.1 He died on 30 November 1945 at age 86.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment.1
