Amy Gertrude Bruce1

     Amy Gertrude Bruce was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Robert Bruce and Rachel Frances Corbet.1,2 She married Thomas Edward Erskine, son of Reverend Thomas Erskine and Emmeline Augusta Adeane, on 17 November 1888.1 She died on 10 October 1939.
     Her married name became Erskine.

Lt.-Gen. Robert Bruce1

     Lt.-Gen. Robert Bruce was the son of John Bruce Bruce-Pryce and Sarah Austin.1 He married Rachel Frances Corbet, daughter of Richard Corbet, on 5 February 1857.2 He died in 1891.2
     He gained the rank of officer in the 74th Highlanders.2 He fought in the Kaffir War between 1851 and 1853.2 He retired from the military in 1881, with the rank of Lieutenant-General.2 He gained the rank of Colonel between 1890 and 1891 in the East Yorkshire Regiment.2

     Hugh James Seymour usually went by his middle name of James.1 He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He lived in 2003 at 67 Easton Terrace, London, EnglandG.1
