     Janet Cheape is the daughter of James Cheape.2 She married Alexander Monypenny, 20th of Pitmilly, son of Sir James Monypenny, 18th of Pitmilly and Helenor Maule, in 1675.1
     After her marriage, Janet Cheape was styled as Lady Monypenny, of Pitmilly, co. Fife [U.K.] in 1675.1 From 1675, her married name became Monypenny.1

Magdalene Erskine.2 He married, firstly, Ann Marjoribanks, daughter of Andrew Marjoribanks.1 He married, secondly, Marion Dalgleish.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Blackwood.1 He died on 23 May 1762.1
     He succeeded as the 21st Monypenny, of Pitmilly, co. Fife [U.K.] in 1715.1
