     Sir George Downing, 1st Bt. was born circa 1624 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Emanuel Downing and Lucy Winthrop.2 He married Frances Howard in 1654.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Downing in 1663.

     Hon. John Monypenny was the son of James Monypenny, 17th of Pitmilly and Euphame Colville.2 He married, firstly, Euphame Myrton, daughter of Thomas Myrton of Cambo and Catherine Lindsay.2 He married, secondly, Susanna Colville, daughter of Alexander Colville and Nicola Dundas, on 11 September 1609.3 He died on 1 August 1617 at France, in the lifetime of the father.2

     Sir James Monypenny, 18th of Pitmilly was the son of Hon. John Monypenny and Euphame Myrton.2 He married Helenor Maule, daughter of William Maule, in 1637.3 He died in 1657.3
     Sir James Monypenny, 18th of Pitmilly also went by the nick-name 'The Brave'.3 He succeeded as the 18th Monypenny, of Pitmilly, co. Fife [U.K.] in 1638.3 They also had two other sons and three daughters.3

     From 11 September 1609, her married name became Monypenny.1,3 From 22 July 1620, her married name became Preston.2

     Alexander Colville was born after 1536.2 He is the son of Sir James Colville of Ochiltree and Alison Bruce.3 He married Nicola Dundas, daughter of Alexander Dundas of Fingask and Elizabeth Bruce.4 He died in 1597.4
     He was Commendator of Culross Abbey.4 He lived at Culross, Fife, Scotland.4 On 4 February 1566/67 he received a charter for Culross Abbey, and was Commendator (lay propietor) of the Abbey.4 He held the office of Lord of Session in 1572.4

     James Buller was baptised on 17 June 1717 at Morval, Cornwall, England.2 He was the son of John Francis Buller and Rebecca Trelawny.3,4 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Gould, daughter of William Gould and Elizabeth Quicke, on 19 November 1739.5 He married, secondly, Lady Jane Bathurst, daughter of Allen Bathurst, 1st Earl Bathurst of Bathurst and Catherine Apsley, in April 1744.3 He died on 21 May 1765 at age 47.5
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cornwall between 1747 and 1765.1 He lived at Morval, Cornwall, EnglandG.1 He lived at Downes, Crediton, Devon, EnglandG.1
