     Lionel Henry Shuckforth Grigson was born on 25 January 1898 at Pelynt, Cornwall, England.1 He was the son of Canon William Shuckforth Grigson and Mary Beatrice Boldero.1 He died on 9 May 1917 at age 19 at Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.2

     Rear-Admiral Guy Waterhouse Hallifax was born circa 1885.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral John Salway Hallifax and Charlotte Anne Hamilton.1 He married Madeleine Sumner Simms in 1930 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1 He died on 28 March 1941 at Cape Province, South Africa, killed in an air accident.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the South African Naval Forces.1

     He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 7th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1
