     James Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 19th of Rattray was the son of Patrick Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 18th of Rattray and Hon. Anne Drummond.2 A contract for the marriage of James Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 19th of Rattray and Hon. Elizabeth Hay was signed on 8 December 1682.1 He died on 2 August 1684.1
     In 1682 he was served heir to his father and ancestor Sir John Rattray of that Ilk.1

John Galloway, son of Thomas Galloway, 2nd Lord Dunkeld.1 She married by contract, firstly, James Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 19th of Rattray, son of Patrick Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 18th of Rattray and Hon. Anne Drummond, on 8 December 1682.1
     Her married name became Galloway.1 Her married name became Rattray.

     Rt. Rev. Thomas Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 20th of Rattray was born circa 1683.1 He was the son of James Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 19th of Rattray and Hon. Elizabeth Hay.2 He married Hon. Margaret Galloway, daughter of Thomas Galloway, 2nd Lord Dunkeld, on 31 July 1701.1 He died on 12 May 1743.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Bishop of Brechin between 1727 and 1732.1 He held the office of Bishop of Dunkeld between 1732 and 1743.1 He held the office of Primus of Scotland between 1739 and 1743.1 He was a Jacobite and non-jouring Episcopalian, and theological writer.1

     Hon. Margaret Galloway was the daughter of Thomas Galloway, 2nd Lord Dunkeld.2 She married Rt. Rev. Thomas Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 20th of Rattray, son of James Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 19th of Rattray and Hon. Elizabeth Hay, on 31 July 1701.1 She died on 26 September 1737.1
     From 31 July 1701, her married name became Rattray.

     James Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 21st of Rattray was born on 12 June 1703.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Thomas Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 20th of Rattray and Hon. Margaret Galloway.2 A contract for the marriage of James Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 21st of Rattray and Marjory Graeme was signed on 16 April 1730.1 He died on 11 January 1770 at age 66.1
     He subscribed £50 to Bonnie Prince Charlie's war-chest, and sheltered a fugitive Jacobite at Craighall after Culloden.1
