     Lt.-Col. Adrian Grant Duff was born before 1891. He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Mountstuart Grant Duff.¹ He married Hon. Ursula Lubbock, daughter of John Lubbock, 1st Baron Avebury and Alice Augusta Laurentia Lane Fox-Pitt-Rivers, on 22 October 1906.¹ He died on 2 September 1914 at Aisne, killed in action.¹

     Sir Edward Henry Pelham was born on 20 December 1876.² He was the son of Professor Henry Francis Pelham and Laura Priscilla Buxton.¹ He married Hon. Irene Lubbock, daughter of John Lubbock, 1st Baron Avebury and Alice Augusta Laurentia Lane Fox-Pitt-Rivers, on 5 December 1905.¹ He died on 18 December 1949 at age 72, as the result of an accident.¹
     Sir Edward Henry Pelham was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.² He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).¹ He was Permanent Secretary of the Board of Education between 1931 and 1937.² He lived at Currant Hill, Westerham, Kent, England.¹

     Evelyn Hester Blois, Baroness Macleod of Borve was born on 19 February 1915.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Gervase Vanneck Blois and Hon. Hester Murray Pakington.¹ She married, firstly, Mervyn Charles Mason on 3 July 1937.¹ She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. Iain Norman Macleod, son of Dr. Norman Macleod and Annabella Ross, on 25 January 1941.¹ She died on 17 November 1999 at age 84.¹
     From 3 July 1937, her married name became Mason. From 25 January 1941, her married name became Macleod. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex in 1955.¹ She was co-founder of Crisis at Christmas in 1967.¹ She was created Baroness MacLeod of Borve, of Borve in the Isle of Lewis [U.K. Life Peer] on 4 June 1971.² She was chairman of the National Gas Consumers' Council between 1972 and 1977.³ She held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Greater London in 1977.¹

     Neill Adrian Mountstuart Grant Duff was born on 19 October 1910. He is the son of Lt.-Col. Adrian Grant Duff and Hon. Ursula Lubbock. He married Barbara Chance in 1934.
