     Reverend Peter Hordern was born on 8 April 1797.2 He was the son of Reverend Joseph Hordern and Ellen Allen.2 He married Frances Entwistle, daughter of Richard Entwistle, at Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.3 He died in 1836.2
     He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1820 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1822 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was the Vicar at Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Lancashire, EnglandG.1

     Lt.-Col. David Francis Bickmore was born in 1892.2 He was the son of Reverend Francis Agnew Bickmore and Lucy Jane Dundas.2,3 He married Laura Grace Pelham, daughter of Professor Henry Francis Pelham and Laura Priscilla Buxton, on 2 September 1915.1 He died on 20 July 1918, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.2 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Acting Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Gordon Highlanders.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
