Reverend Peter Hordern was born on 8 April 1797.2 He was the son of Reverend Joseph Hordern and Ellen Allen.2 He married Frances Entwistle, daughter of Richard Entwistle, at Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England.3 He died in 1836.2

Lt.-Col. David Francis Bickmore was born in 1892.2 He was the son of Reverend Francis Agnew Bickmore and Lucy Jane Dundas.2,3 He married Laura Grace Pelham, daughter of Professor Henry Francis Pelham and Laura Priscilla Buxton, on 2 September 1915.1 He died on 20 July 1918, killed in action.1
