     He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.2 He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Southampton University, Southampton, Hampshire, England, with a Master of Science (M.Sc.)2 He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1968 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was with Sir Alexander Gibb & Partners.2 He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.)2 He lived in 2003 at Chiltern House, Hardwick Road, Whitchurch-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England.2
