Henry George Atkinson-Clark was born on 19 September 1877. He was the son of George Dixon Atkinson-Clark and Mary Caroline Coventry. He married Rachel Cicely Meyrick, daughter of Sir Thomas Charlton Meyrick, 1st Bt. and Mary Rhoda Hill, on 19 July 1904. He died on 13 August 1948 at age 70.
