     Lt.-Col. George Hotham was born on 18 October 1770. He was the son of General George Hotham and Diana Pennyman. He married, firstly, Caroline Gee, daughter of Roger Gee, on 1 March 1792. He married, secondly, Rosamond Best, daughter of Reverend Francis Best, on 29 June 1813. He died on 23 April 1823 at age 52.
     Lt.-Col. George Hotham lived at York, Yorkshire, England.1

     Caroline Gee was the daughter of Roger Gee. She married Lt.-Col. George Hotham, son of General George Hotham and Diana Pennyman, on 1 March 1792. She died on 23 December 1811.
     Her married name became Hotham.
